Certain foot conditions are highly contagious and pose a risk not only to you, but also to your massage therapist and other clients. For everyone’s safety, please inform your therapist before your session if you currently have or suspect any contagious foot condition, including athlete’s foot or plantar warts.
The colder seasons are coming, and more clients are arriving with possible colds or allergy infections. If you know in advance that you have a cold, it is required that you reschedule your appointment. Please do not wait until the last minute. My cancellation policy still applies to same day cancellations. At minimum, I need notice the night before so that I have the opportunity to schedule someone else in your place.
Your health and safety are always my top priority. To ease the minds of my clients, I want to clarify my policies and the precautions I take regarding colds, flu, and COVID-19.
Yes! Showering before your massage is highly recommended, especially if you exercise, work outdoors, or do physically demanding jobs. Clean, warm skin helps your massage be more effective by relaxing muscles, loosening fascia, and improving circulation. Exfoliating gently with a washcloth, loofah, or agate cloth can further enhance the benefits.
