Mannual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle, slow technique designed to help move lymphatic fluid and metabolic waste through your body’s natural channels. This is not a massage.
It can be helpful for a variety of concerns, including breast, bladder, digestive, sinus, lung, and ear issues. Breast lymphatic drainage can benefit both men and women, supporting breast health, reducing swelling, and promoting circulation. Some fertility challenges may also be connected to the lymphatic system, making this technique especially supportive for those trying to conceive.
This technique is particularly important to do before a massage or any other bodywork because it helps clear fluid and metabolic waste from the tissues, allowing subsequent treatments to be more effective and comfortable. It can also help lubricate tissues by increasing hyaluronic acid, which supports healthier, more flexible tissue. No deep pressure or lotion is used during this session.
Manual lymphatic drainage is also excellent before and after cosmetic procedures to reduce swelling and help your tissues heal more comfortably. For clients who have had recent cosmetic surgery, a doctor’s release is required before scheduling a session. Please call the office before booking.
It’s strongly recommended for fertility patients and anyone recovering from liposuction.
