New Client Information: What to Expect
Reiki and Energy Therapy Suzan Walker LMT Arlington, TX

Thank you for scheduling your appointment with Suzan Walker, LMT. I’m looking forward to working with you.

New clients, your first session must be secured with a credit card.

To save time and avoid a last-minute rush, please complete your client assessment form online the same day you book.

As a first-time client, I ask that you arrive 10 minutes early. This helps reduce rushing and allows you time to settle in before your session begins. Please note, if you arrive late, time will be deducted from your session.

Please review your client confirmation page, as it contains directions, session details, policy information, guidelines, and your intake forms.

My office environment is not suitable for children. Please make arrangements ahead of time for child care. This time is just for you, and having children in the office can be a distraction and interfere with your ability to fully relax.

No one else is permitted in the room during your session, with the exception of minors or clients who require an interpreter.

Client Conduct and Safety

To maintain a safe and professional environment, inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, sexual advances, harassment, verbal outbursts, or unwanted physical contact.

If a client engages in inappropriate behavior during a session, the therapist reserves the right to immediately end the session without refund. Repeated or egregious behavior may result in being refused future services.

Appointments begin promptly. Depending on your selected service, sessions may last up to three hours.

Please leave jewelry at home and bring a contact case if you wear lenses. Complimentary water or herbal tea is available upon request.

Please silence your cell phone. This is your time to relax and unwind.

Draping is always required, and full coverage will be provided at all times.

Breast massage is available upon request and requires verbal consent along with a signed and dated release form.

Blankets, table heating, and foot booties are available for your comfort. Please let me know your preferences so I can make your session as comfortable as possible.

Session time may be reduced if you arrive late or if sufficient time is not allowed for your health assessment. No exceptions.

What to expect during your session:

When you arrive, we will take a few minutes to go over your health assessment and discuss your goals for the session. After that, I will guide you to the treatment room and step out, closing the door so you may disrobe in private.

You may keep your undergarments on if you choose. However, removing them can allow for more effective work on areas such as the lower back, glutes, and legs.

Most sessions begin face down (prone), unless we decide together on a different approach based on your needs.

If you need anything during your session, whether it’s to adjust pressure, take a break, use the restroom, or have water, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

The ambiance is designed to help you relax, with soft lighting, calming music, and optional aromatherapy. You may choose between unscented lotion, cream, or massage oil, and aromatherapy is always optional.

Please inform me if you have any allergies or sensitivities to essential oils or scents so I can accommodate you safely.

If you have any questions or concerns about your massage session, please direct your inquiries to 817-966-1020. Looking forward to working with you!
