Postoperative Lymphatic Drainage & Massage
Cosmetic Lymphatic Drainage and Massage is a specialized post-operative therapy designed to support your body’s natural healing process following cosmetic surgery procedures such as liposuction, augmentation, and Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBL). This gentle technique encourages the movement of lymphatic fluid, helping to reduce swelling, minimize bruising, and decrease fluid retention, allowing for a more comfortable recovery and optimal results. Feather-light strokes are used to open lymphatic pathways and move fluid through the lymphatic system. No deep or aggressive pressure is applied. Depending on your stage of healing, additional methods may be incorporated to soften fibrous adhesions and relax tight muscles.
For your safety, a written medical clearance from your surgeon is required if you are under six weeks post-operative. Sessions typically begin between three to seven days after your procedure and may continue for several months depending on your individual healing needs. Clients must have all drains and tubes removed prior to receiving treatment, and incisions must be covered if not fully healed. Those experiencing post-surgical complications or specific medical conditions will need to provide updated clearance before scheduling.
