Before You Book: Are My Services Right For You?

Thank you for considering me for your massage therapy services.
This space is designed to provide calm, patient, and supportive bodywork focused on nervous system regulation, trauma-informed care, and holistic healing. Sessions are intentionally unhurried and tailored to each client’s comfort and needs.
Before booking, please take a moment to review the following guidelines.
This practice may be a good fit for you if:
• You appreciate a slower, mindful approach to bodywork
• You are open to holistic or integrative techniques such as craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, and energy work
• You value clear communication and respectful boundaries
• You are comfortable scheduling appointments in advance
Sessions are designed to allow the body the time it needs to relax, release tension, and integrate the work.
This practice may not be the right fit if:
• You are looking for very deep or aggressive massage therapy
• You require same-day or emergency appointments
• You prefer a very fast-paced treatment style
• You are uncomfortable with holistic or energetic approaches to bodywork
There are many excellent practitioners who specialize in those approaches and may be a better match for your needs.
Scheduling Expectations
Appointments should be scheduled through the online booking system. If you are unable to book online please call 817-966-1020 to schedule your session with a credit card.
Session Timing
Appointments are scheduled for a specific amount of time in order to provide each client with the attention and care they deserve.
Sessions cannot be extended beyond the scheduled time if another client is booked afterward.
Arriving on time helps ensure you receive the full benefit of your session.
Emotional Responses During Bodywork
When working with the nervous system, it is not uncommon for the body to release stored stress or tension.
Some clients may experience:
• deep relaxation
• emotional release
• memories or reflections
• a sense of calm or fatigue
These responses are natural ways the body processes stress and tension.
While I provide a supportive and respectful space, massage therapy is not psychotherapy or counseling.
Please note:
• Emergency or last-minute appointments are not available
• Same-day appointments are rarely available
• Sessions are typically 90 minutes to two hours
If the schedule is full, you are welcome to request an earlier opening through the booking system if a cancellation occurs.
Respect for Time and Boundaries
A trauma-informed environment includes mutual respect for both clients and practitioners.
Just as your personal boundaries are honored during your session, my office maintains professional boundaries around time, scheduling, and scope of care.
If You Are Experiencing a Crisis
Massage therapy is not a crisis or emergency service.
If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis in the United States, you may call or text 988 for immediate support.
Thank you for helping maintain a respectful and supportive environment for everyone.
