Accessibility and Mobility Accommodations

Massage therapy should be accessible to everyone. Whether you have a temporary injury, use a mobility device, have a permanent disability, or simply need a little extra assistance, I am committed to creating a comfortable and accommodating experience for your visit.
If you have a temporary or permanent handicap placard, I highly recommend parking in the designated handicap parking space located on the south side of the building. This is the only parking space that provides the easiest wheelchair and mobility access to the office.
Other parking areas may require a longer walk or may not provide the same level of accessibility.
If you require assistance getting from your vehicle to the office, please let me know in advance. While I cannot physically assist clients in and out of their vehicles, I can help coordinate your arrival and make accommodations within the office whenever possible.
The building's restrooms are handicap accessible and include handicap stalls. If you anticipate needing additional accommodations during your visit, please notify me before your appointment so I can prepare the treatment room accordingly.
A hydraulic massage table is available to assist clients who have difficulty getting on and off a traditional massage table. I can also rearrange furniture and equipment to create additional space for wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or other mobility devices. Advance notice allows me to secure the treatment area and ensure your visit is as safe and comfortable as possible.
Your comfort, safety, and accessibility are important to me. If you have questions about accommodations before your appointment, please reach out so we can discuss your individual needs.
Please note that if you need additional accommodations, it is important to indicate this on your intake form and notify me before your appointment so I can prepare the treatment room appropriately
With care and support,
Suzan Walker LMT
