The past year has been a real eye-opener for me, both personally and professionally. It’s made me take a step back and reflect on what I can change not only for my business but also for myself. I’ve been re-evaluating the kind of clients I want to work with, the energy I want to cultivate, and the direction I want to take moving forward.
Kink-informed care is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to safe, professional, and compassionate services without judgment or bias. Unfortunately, there is still a stigma when it comes to people with kinks seeking care. Too often, assumptions or personal biases from professionals create unnecessary barriers that prevent individuals from receiving the support they truly need.
It’s always perfectly fine to ask, and I’m more than happy to offer one. A hug can be a simple expression of appreciation, especially for clients who have experienced pain or tension for months and feel relief after a massage.
